Light and robust trekking and hunting shoe.
With the MEINDL Dovre MFS "wide" is additionally a lower, normal high version of the model MEINDL Dovre Extreme MFS "wide" which has been very popular as a hunting shoe for many years, especially in cold and wet weather and in rough terrain.
This trekking shoe, made of extra strong nubuck leather with wax grip, is also made over an extra wide last and also has a rubber tip protector, a reinforced toe cap, a soft tongue end, side clamp hooks and DiGAfix® lacing for a "more gripping lacing" to ensure a better heel fit. Due to the seam cut (no pressure points), it also offers very good stability. Thanks to the MF® system developed by Meindl, this shoe offers an even better fit in the ankle area and prevents pressure points. The generous padding and a soft cuff at the shaft end also ensure very good wearing comfort. A flexion zone above the heel ensures more mobility of the shaft. The Meindl Multigriff® sole from Vibram® with a very high, hand-wound rubber belt as weather protection offers very good grip and hold, even on difficult surfaces. GORE-TEX® makes this shoe waterproof, breathable and thermally insulating.
