The 16" dehumidifier rod causes the air to circulate within the safe, thereby preventing damage associated with moisture. The rod comes with the plug separated from the rod's electrical cord, so it can be inserted through a 1/4" hole in the safe, then the plug is easily installed on the electrical cord.

Usage Instructions:

Dri-Rod is to be used indoors and is not intended for outdoor use.
To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse unit, plug, or cord in water or spray with liquids.
Do not operate rod in presence of explosives or flammable fumes.
Do not operate Dri-Rod if cord or unit is damaged in any manner.
Do not touch rod after plugged in. To reposition, unplug and let stand for 15 minutes to cool.
